Introducing UltiVoice — AI Video Dubbing for Everyone

We're rebranding from Omnidub to UltiVoice: a faster, cleaner name for our offline-first AI video dubbing desktop app. Everything you need to know about the change.

Today we’re officially renaming our product from Omnidub to UltiVoice.

The app is the same one you know — offline AI video dubbing, 50+ languages, voice cloning, no video uploads. The name change reflects a clearer mission: the ultimate voice for your video content, wherever in the world your audience is.

Why the rename?

When we started, “Omnidub” described the core action — dubbing everything. As the product matured, we realised the name undersold the voice experience. UltiVoice puts the emphasis where it belongs: on generating a natural, high-quality voice in any language, not just mechanically swapping audio tracks.

The new name also reads and pronounces cleanly in Vietnamese, English, Japanese, and Korean — the four markets where we see the most early traction.

What changes for existing users

Nothing you care about changes. Specifically:

  • Your license key and account remain valid — no reactivation needed.
  • The .lic file on your machine continues to work.
  • Your projects, settings, and output files are untouched.
  • The download URL has moved to ultivoice.com/download.
  • Support email is now support@ultivoice.com.

The desktop app installer filename will show UltiVoice starting from version 3.0.0-alpha.2. When you install the update over an existing Omnidub installation, the app migrates automatically.

What’s new in the rebrand release (3.0.0-alpha.2)

Beyond the rename, this release includes:

  • Refreshed UI — new “Voice Lab” dark theme with the UltiVoice indigo/coral palette.
  • Docs site — full user guide and knowledge base at docs.ultivoice.com.
  • Improved activation flow — the 8-character code exchange is now faster and more reliable.
  • Bug fixes — sidecar stability improvements, NVENC export fix for long videos.

See the full release notes for the complete changelog.

What stays the same

  • Offline-first processing — your videos never leave your machine.
  • 50+ languages for transcription, translation, and synthesis.
  • F5-TTS-Vi voice cloning technology.
  • Windows desktop only (macOS roadmap post-1.0).
  • Pricing is unchanged.

Thank you

To everyone who used Omnidub during the alpha period — your feedback shaped every feature in this release. UltiVoice is a better product because of it.
