Once the dubbing pipeline has completed and you have reviewed the transcript and subtitles, use the Export tab to render the final output file.

Open the Export tab

Click the Export tab in the Workspace, or press Ctrl+E.

Choose output format

Resolution	Match source (default), 1080p, 720p, 480p

Copy original (video codec) re-uses the original video stream without re-encoding — it is the fastest option and produces no quality loss. Choose H.264 or H.265 only if you need to change resolution/frame rate or reduce file size.

NVENC hardware encoding

If an NVIDIA GPU is detected, UltiVoice offers H.264 NVENC and H.265 NVENC options. Hardware encoding is significantly faster than CPU encoding and produces equivalent quality.

Subtitle options

Option	Description
None	No subtitles in the output.
Burn in	Permanently render subtitles into video frames.
Sidecar (.ass / .srt)	Save subtitles as a separate file; video untouched.
Embedded track (MKV only)	Mux as a selectable subtitle track inside the container.

Output location

The default output folder is the one you chose when creating the project. To change it:

1. Click Browse next to the output path field.
2. Select or create a folder.
3. Optionally edit the File name template — available variables: {project}, {lang}, {date}, {version}.

Example template: {project}_{lang}_dubbed_{date} → my-video_vi_dubbed_2026-06-07.mp4

Export

1. Review all settings in the Export tab.

2. Click Export. UltiVoice invokes FFmpeg with the configured parameters.

3. A progress bar shows encoding progress. Encoding a 5-minute video to H.264 takes ~30 seconds on NVENC, ~3–5 minutes on CPU.

4. When complete, the output folder opens automatically. Click Open file to play the exported video in your default player.

Multi-language export

If your project has multiple target languages, each language produces a separate output file. All are exported in a single render pass. Output files are named using the language code, e.g. my-video_en_dubbed.mp4, my-video_ja_dubbed.mp4.

Re-exporting

You can re-export at any time after changing subtitle styles, timing edits, or codec settings. Previous exports are not overwritten — UltiVoice appends a version counter (_v2, _v3) to the file name unless you enable Overwrite previous in Settings → Output.

Troubleshooting export errors

If export fails with an FFmpeg error:

• Check that the output folder is writable and has sufficient disk space.
• Avoid output paths with non-ASCII characters or very long paths on Windows.
• If NVENC encoding fails, switch to software H.264 encoding (NVENC requires updated GPU drivers).
